Im in 2WW -2nd cycle after HSG Test is done-

Haven't write about my TTC progress after I had my HSG last month. Actually i'm not gonna stress thinking about my 2WW. Thinking about "Am I pregnant?" or not..Please mind, don think about it okay..just let it be..

Symptom?? Period or pregnant?
1) Nausea sometimes (because of acidic maybe, mmg selalu mcm ni if mkn tak tentu masa)
2) Feel bloated (because of acidic also, I guess..mmg selalu jugak mcm ni if nak dekat period)
3) This month stomach giv me a strange sound and I can feel it. (kriuk..kriuk..biasenye time nak period jer tp this month sentiasa) mkn Gaviscon pun tak ada apa2 perubahan

Nothing much, thats my normal symptom if my period is on d way..but hope it is not..

May Allah bless us and give us a healthy baby one day..InsyaAllah..

Dilema Digital Camera

Seperti yg diberitahu di entry sblm, saya mahu story morry pasal Digital Cam. Seronok weh cuti2 xde buat ape ni,fulltime surfing, blogging & chatting. hahaha kat ofis tu agaknya kelam kabut tanpa saya. Mcm org penting jer,perasan..bluekkk..skali skala tgk email ofis membuatkan hati rasa x senang coz cuti lame2..isy aper laa dah cuti tu x payah la fikir pasal kerja kot..okeh..okeh..forget about it..

Berbalik semula ke tajuk asal..actually saya dalam dilema antara nak let go my Nikon D3000 atau tidak. Reason nak let go, besar sgt..dah kate DSLR kan mmg ler besor makcik weh..dulu gatal nak beli tp bile gedabak mcm tu nak bwk jalan biase2 rase mcm tak praktikal jer. Last2 duk tersekung jer dekat rumah, En suami jer bwk pergi skolah shoot utk program pape kalau ada..utk sendiri mmg jarang gune. So, cadangnya nak beli yg compact sikit. Ala ala DSLR jugak tp tak sebesar Nikon skarang ni. Lagipun tgk hasil Lumix mcm lg cantik..bagi saya laa coz Abg Ipar pakai Lumix..compact jer sng nak bawak kemana2..

Nikon D3000 to be replace with...(see below)

Panasonic Lumix GF1 or...

Panasonic Lumix LX5 or....

Fuji X100

Kalau jual/trade in kene add duit lg utk cam baru..membazir tak? Hujung2 tahun ni kewangan semput2,sibuk nak membeli pulak..kalau fikirkan kepentingan tu mmg lah takde sgt tp risau simpan lama2 Nikon ni xde value dah nak jual..reason lain,gedik2 gatal nak berphoto shoot sebenarnya..lama sgt dah tak berphoto shoot dgn family..

Sok sek sok sek 22/11/2011..

Hari ni semua org duk sok sek pasal Harimau Muda termasuk laa aku. Huhu..tetiba pulak jd excited nak tgk M'sia vs Indo semlm coz dgr org crite pasukan kite byk menerima tekanan..ntah hape aku pun xtahu sbb lame dh x bace paper semua..harap kan org bercerita jer..so semlm bersungguh2 laa jd penonton tegar depan TV,siap emo2 bagai lagi sampai Cik Abang kate "Jgn laa emo sgt yang"..haha kelakar pulak sethn sekali tgk bola tetiba nak emo..ape nak buat dah kata rakyat Malaysia kan..ape2 pun tahniah lah buat pasukan Malaysia krn telah berjaya mendptkan pingat emas..

Sambil duk sok sek pasal Harimau2 tu pg td,terselit satu cerita yg menyentuh perasaan, sorang ofismate bakal jd bapa, diorang baru kawen bln 6 hari tu,dan ramai lah yg mengucapkan tahniah sambil memuji krn berjaya..aku pun sama laa duk mengucapkan tahniah sambil seronok2 jugak tp dlm hati Allah shj yg tahu. Terasa jugak dgn gurauan diorang tu tp x tunjuk laa,gelak2 jugak..mcm mane yer kite nak terima berita2 mcm ni tanpa terdetik kat hati perasaan sedih? Tak baik kan sedih2 tp nk buat mcm mane..x boleh nak elak..kalau blk rumah kompem meleleh nye..tp biasenye berjayala membzkan diri..skarang dh ada kawan baru (blog ini) so kalau boring2,bosan2,geram2,nak meluah perasaan boleh laa bebel kat sini..at least ape yg terbuku dlm hati dpt dilepaskan..

Minggu lepas biras aku bersalin anak ke 3. Ni berita org bakal dpt baby. Sblm2 ni bergilir2 cerita org pregnant kt ofis. Mcm berlumba2,kawen-pregnant-kawen-pregnant..sng jer..ader pulak yg duk berbincang2 plan nak pregnant thn depan laa bln depan laa..alangkah bahagia nye diorang kan..ckp jer nak pregnant trus pregnant..

Nak tau result HSG test hari tu. Masa test hari tu mmg doktor tu dah ckp result ok,normal, takde problem. Alhamdulillah..syukur sgt..sblm buat tu cukup risau takut tiub tersumbat tp Alhamdulillah semua ok..Actually lps buat test hari tu dtg juga period. Mmg tak dinafikan lepas buat test mmg harapan nk pregnant tu sgt tinggi coz byk org kate peluang utk pregnant tu lebih tinggi lepas buat HSG test.

"Some studies show that this test may help a woman's chance of becoming pregnant because the dye may remove mucus plugs, straighten the fallopian tubes, and break through thin scar tissue."

Hopefully bln ni dpt conceive naturally. Saya dah stop mkn chlomid last year lg coz doktor ckp saya ovulate dgn baik sekali mase buat blood test hari tu. Lepas buat HSG ni x tahu laa doktor nak suruh buat ape pulak (kalau x pregnant la) Hopefully pregnant laa coz xnak jumpe doktor dah..result semua normal..risau neh..ape laa masalah nye kami ni kan..nak try pergi kat perubatan Islam pulak rasenye lepas ni..

Saya doakan kawan2 yg sdg dlm proses conceiving..semoga kalian berjaya..semoga kite sama2 berjaya..InsyaAllah..

Putri.

Cerita Blog Baru..

Bile bekerja, terikat dgn waktu kerja & peraturan kerja amatlah besar dugaan bg kami. Nak buat sesuatu agak terbatas, bukan sbb mls, bukan sbb susah tp sbb komitmen terhadap kerja & takut untuk melakukan sesuatu yg bkn urusan kerja diwaktu kerja. Cthnya bersolat sunat (x termasuk solat 5 waktu), mengaji, berzikir. Waktu2 begini tiba2 rasa alangkah bahagianya kalau jd surirumah sepenuh masa. Nak buat ape ikut sukahati pun boleh. Nak solat sunat byk2,nak mengaji byk2,nak zikir & doa lama2 setiap kali lepas solat, semua pun boleh. Tp apakan daya saya wanita bekerjaya..namun saya bersyukur dgn rezeki yg Allah beri ini. Rezeki membantu suami meringankan bebannya membayar rumah, kereta,bil2,hutang2,makan & pakai seisi rumah. Banyak kan,so saya bersyukur krn dikurniakan rezeki bekerja ini. Mudah mudahan Allah permudahkan segala urusan kami & murahkan rezeki kami. InsyaAllah..

Niat dihati kalau dikurniakan zuriat suatu hari nanti, saya mahu jd fulltime housewife. Boleh ker?
Nak jaga anak sendiri, jaga makan pakai suami sendiri, didik anak sendiri. Biarlah org kata rugi belajar tinggi2 tp duduk rumah jer,tak rugi rasenye bile kite niat melakukan sesuatu krn Allah Ta'ala. Didik anak perlu ilmu juga kan? Apa salahnya..hehe

Sekadar bercerita diptg Sabtu..sekian..

New nephew..

Hi again..
Ada ke org bace blog aku nih? hehe..takpe laa xde org bace pun. Actually this is the place where i can share something (ape2 jer), bukan sekadar share, juga untuk reference dimasa akan datang. Tak kisah laa cerita pasal apa pun kan. Bukan hanya utk org baca tp untuk diri sendiri juga.

Satu hari byk post? hehe..mood skarang tgh nak ber blog. Sukahati kau laa makcik..tulih laa banyak2. Bebel laa kau sorang2..hahaha

Tadi cerita pasal Gaviscon, skarang cerita pasal new nephew. Tumpang gembira dgn kelahiran baru ini..Anak sedara baru sebelah hubby..congrates on ur newborn baby. Baby ke-3. Comel sgt baby nih..geram sebenarnye tp malu nak pegang selalu, nanti org kata kesian die xde anak asyik nak pegang anak org..hehe ada ker org ckp camni?? Aku jer kut fikir..

Was born on 13/11/2011 at Pusat Perubatan MUIP,Kuantan, Pahang
name Muhammad Rayyan Nafis (Tak sure ejaan nye)

Semoga Rayyan jadi anak yg soleh & taat pd kedua ibubapa..hopefully..insyaAllah..

Gaviscon Advance..

Pernah tak rasa perut x selesa disbbkan angin, perut sentiasa berbunyi samada dlm keadaan lapar atau tidak. Begitulah keadaan saya, perut sentiasa bunyi, mcm org lapar, bhgn atas dan bwh. Having nausea, perut x selesa, rasa nak muntah, kdg2 sakit perut tak tentu masa, kerap buang angin (atas & bwh)..x senonoh sikit..hehe tp mcm tu la keadaan nye bile perut beracid lebih.

Pernah terjadi satu masa, setiap mlm hidung tersumbat, mcm selsema tp x berhingus cuma terasa mcm ada blockage, x selesa, bile bgn pagi, lendir2 akan keluar mcm org selsema. Setiap hari berlaku even mkn ubat selsema. Bile jumpe pakar katenye mmg ada alergy la sikit, tp masalah sebenar is actually coming from your stomach. Sampai kesitu. Kebetulan mmg saya ni ada resdung org tua kata, sensitif dgn sejuk, habuk & asap. So takde laa terfikir sbb ni. Tp bile surfing & baca mmg betul laa, boleh jadi sbb perut beracid. Juga rasa perut tak selesa, nak muntah (tp x muntah) mula la rasa mcm symptom org pregnant kan tp sebenarnya tidak..hehe

So, untuk mengurangkan acid dlm perut doktor prescribe me with Gaviscon. Actually ada ubat lain like Nexium, Gastrovex tp saya tak berani nak mkn since we are currently hardly trying for a baby kan, takut ubat ni mengganggu. Memandang kan Gaviscon is safe for Pregnant and Lactating mother so saya akan cuba habiskan Gaviscon sehingga perut selesa.

Meh kite cerita tentang Heartburn & Indigestion..

Understanding Heartburn & Indigestion

The terms heartburn and indigestion are often interchanged, but they are actually two different conditions.

Heartburn (or acid reflux)

  • Occurs when acid, which normally sits within the protected lining of the stomach, escapes back up into the oesophagus (food pipe)
  • Because the oesophagus is not as well protected as the stomach the acid can irritate the lining
  • This can cause painful symptoms such as burning, pain (usually behind the breastbone) and a feeling of sickness (often described as a 'bad taste in mouth')

Indigestion

  • This can also be caused by acid irritation - hence the common confusion
  • The term 'indigestion' encompasses a range of digestive symptoms
  • These tend to be milder - in comparison with heartburn - but include pain/discomfort in the upper part of the stomach, sickness and nausea and an uncomfortable bloated feeling

Causes

Heartburn and indigestion can tend to have similar triggers. These include:

The Way You Eat...

  • Eating large meals can cause your stomach to produce too much acid. Physically 'overfilling' the stomach can also create pressure and cause acid to escape
  • Eating irregularly or too quickly can mean that acid levels in the stomach don't have time to regulate
  • Eating on the run or just before bedtime can make it easier for acid to escape back up into the oesophagus (food pipe)

The Types of Food You Eat...

  • Fatty foods tend to stay in your stomach for longer because fats are slower to digest
  • Foods such as chocolate and mint may have a relaxant effect on the sphincter (ring of muscle) at the entrance to the stomach enabling acid to escape back up
  • Spicy foods, onions and tomato products may also be triggers

The Types of Drinks You Drink...

  • Caffeinated drinks and alcohol tend to increase acidity in your stomach
  • Very hot drinks and citrus juices may also be triggers

Other known triggers include...

  • Certain medicines, such as those for heart problems, asthma and high blood pressure can sometimes make your stomach produce more acid
  • Being overweight or wearing tight clothes can put pressure on your stomach
  • Smoking can encourage acid production and cause the sphincter to relax. It may also slow down the production of saliva which helps protect the oesophagus

Symptoms

Heartburn

  • The symptoms of heartburn (acid reflux) are generally described as a kind of tightening or burning sensation in the back of the throat and chest area
  • Some people also experience a bitter or acidic taste in the back of the throat

Indigestion

  • With indigestion, pain may be felt in the chest or top of the stomach
  • However many people complain of feeling 'bloated' or uncomfortably full and gaseous - needing to burp, belch or pass wind a lot
  • There may also be nausea or vomiting and a loss of appetite.

How Does Gaviscon Double Action Work?

Gaviscon Double Action works in two ways to effectively relieve the symptoms of both heartburn and indigestion.
  1. The antacid neutralises excess stomach acid to relieve the pain and discomfort of indigestion
  2. The sodium alginate in Gaviscon Double Action begins to form a thick layer (known as a raft) on top of the stomach contents once it makes contact with the stomach acid. The raft acts as a strong physical barrier and helps keep all the components of the stomach contents in the stomach where they work, not letting them seep back up into the oesophagus where they hurt.

Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) Test

Date: 20 October 2011 (Day 10)
Venue: General Hospital, Kuantan
Duration: Lebih kurang 15 minit

A hysterosalpingogram (HSG) is an X-ray test that looks at the inside of the uterus and fallopian tubes and the area around them. It often is done for women who are having a hard time becoming pregnant (infertile).
During a hysterosalpingogram, a dye (contrast material) is put through a thin tube that is put through the vagina and into the uterus. Because the uterus and the fallopian tubes are hooked together, the dye will flow into the fallopian tubes. Pictures are taken using a steady beam of X-ray (fluoroscopy) as the dye passes through the uterus and fallopian tubes. The pictures can show problems such as an injury or abnormal structure of the uterus or fallopian tubes, or a blockage that would prevent an egg moving through a fallopian tube to the uterus. A blockage also could prevent sperm from moving into a fallopian tube and joining (fertilizing) an egg. A hysterosalpingogram also may find problems on the inside of the uterus that prevent a fertilized egg from attaching (implanting) to the uterine wall. See a picture of a hysterosalpingogramcamera.

Why It Is Done

A hysterosalpingogram is done to:
  • Find a blocked fallopian tube. The test often is done for a woman who is having a hard time becoming pregnant. An infection may cause severe scarring of the fallopian tubes and block the tubes, preventing pregnancy. Occasionally the dye used during a hysterosalpingogram will push through and open a blocked tube.
  • Find problems in the uterus, such as an abnormal shape or structure, an injury, polyps, fibroids, adhesions, or a foreign object in the uterus. These types of problems may cause painful menstrual periods or repeated miscarriages.
  • See whether surgery to reverse a tubal ligation has been successful.

How To Prepare

Before a hysterosalpingogram, tell your doctor if you:

How To Prepare continued...

This test should be done 2 to 5 days after your menstrual period has ended to be sure you are not pregnant. It should also be done before you ovulate the next month (unless you are using contraception) to avoid using X-rays during an early pregnancy. You may want to bring along a sanitary napkin to wear after the test because some leakage of the X-ray dye may occur along with slight bleeding.
You may need to sign a consent form that says you understand the risks of a hysterosalpingogram and agree to have the test done. Talk to your doctor about any concerns you have about the need for the test, its risks, how it will be done, or what the results will mean. To help you understand the importance of this test, fill out the medical test information formpdf(What is a PDF document?).

How It Is Done

A hysterosalpingogram usually is done by a radiologist in the X-ray room of a hospital or clinic. A radiology technologist and a nurse may help the doctor. A gynecologist or a doctor who specializes in infertility (reproductive endocrinologist) also may help with the test.
Before the test begins, you may get a sedative or ibuprofen (such as Advil) to help you relax and to relax your uterus so it will not cramp during the test. You will need to take off your clothes below the waist and drape a gown around your waist. You will empty your bladder and then lie on your back on an examination table with your feet raised and supported by stirrups. This allows your doctor to look at your genital area.
An X-ray may be taken to make sure that there is nothing in the large intestine (colon) that could block the view of the uterus and fallopian tubes. Sometimes a laxative or enema is given a few hours before the test to empty the large intestine.
Your doctor will put a smooth, curved speculum into your vagina. The speculum gently spreads apart the vaginal walls, allowing him or her to see the inside of the vagina and the cervix. The cervix may be held in place with a clamp called a tenaculum. The cervix is washed with a special soap and a stiff tube (cannula) or a flexible tube (catheter) is put through the cervix into the uterus. The X-ray dye is put through the tube. If the fallopian tubes are open, the dye will flow through them and spill into the belly where it will be absorbed naturally by the body. If a fallopian tube is blocked, the dye will not pass through. The X-ray pictures are shown on a TV monitor during the test. If another view is needed, the examination table may be tilted or you may be asked to change position.
After the test, the cannula or catheter and speculum are removed. This test usually takes 15 to 30 minutes.

How It Feels

You probably will feel some cramping like menstrual cramps during the test. The amount of pain you have depends on what problems the doctor finds and treats during the test.

Risks

There is always a small chance of damage to cells or tissue from being exposed to any radiation, including the low levels of radiation used for this test. The chance of damage from the X-rays is generally very low compared with the potential benefits of the test.
There is a small chance (less than 1 in 100) of a pelvic infection, endometritis, or salpingitis after the test. The chance may be higher for women who have had pelvic infections before. Your doctor may give you antibiotics if he or she thinks you might develop a pelvic infection.
There is a small chance of damaging or puncturing the uterus or fallopian tubes during the test.
There is a small chance of an allergic reaction to the iodine X-ray dye, especially if you are allergic to any shellfish.
In rare cases, if an oil-based dye is used, the oil can leak into the blood. This can cause blockage of blood flow to a section of the lung (pulmonary embolism). Most hysterosalpingogram tests use water-based dyes.

After the test

After the test, some of the dye will leak out of the vagina. You also may have some vaginal bleeding for several days after the test. Call your doctor immediately if you have:
  • Heavy vaginal bleeding (soak more than one tampon or pad in one hour).
  • A fever.
  • Severe belly pain.
  • Vaginal bleeding that lasts for more than 3 to 4 days.

Results

A hysterosalpingogram (HSG) is an X-ray test that looks at the inside of the uterus and fallopian tubes and the area around them.

Hysterosalpingogram
Normal:The shape of the uterus and fallopian tubes are normal. The fallopian tubes are not scarred or damaged. The dye flows freely from the uterus, through the fallopian tubes, and spills normally into the belly.
No objects (such as an intrauterine device, or IUD), tumors, or growths are seen in the uterus.
Abnormal:Fallopian tubes may be scarred, malformed, or blocked so that the dye does not flow through the tubes and spill into the belly. Possible causes of blocked fallopian tubes include pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) or endometriosis.
The dye may leak through the wall of the uterus, showing a tear or hole in the uterus.
An abnormal uterus may show tissue (called a septum) that divides the uterus.
Growths, such as polyps or fibroids, may be present.

What Affects the Test

Reasons you may not be able to have the test or why the results may not be helpful include:
  • If your fallopian tube has a spasm. This may make a normal fallopian tube look blocked.
  • If the doctor cannot put a catheter in the uterus.
This test is not done on women who are having their period, are pregnant, or have a pelvic infection.

What To Think About

  • In some cases, a pelvic ultrasound test may be done instead of a hysterosalpingogram to find foreign objects in the uterus, such as an intrauterine device (IUD). For more information, see the topic Pelvic Ultrasound.
  • Some early tests to find the cause of infertility may include tests such as semen analysis and blood tests for luteinizing hormone (LH), progesterone, or follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). If these tests can't find the cause of infertility, a hysterosalpingogram may be done. For more information, see the topic Infertility Testing.
  • A hysterosalpingogram is done mainly for women who are having a hard time becoming pregnant. Some studies show that this test may help a woman's chance of becoming pregnant because the dye may remove mucus plugs, straighten the fallopian tubes, and break through thin scar tissue.
  • Hysteroscopy may be done instead of a hysterosalpingogram to look at the uterus. Another test called laparoscopy may also be done instead of a hysterosalpingogram to look at the fallopian tubes. A laparoscopy does not show whether the fallopian tubes are open, unless dye is injected during the laparoscopy. For more information, see the topics Hysteroscopy or Laparoscopy.
  • Another test, a sonohysterogram (SHG), may be more accurate than a hysterosalpingogram for looking at uterine fibroids or polyps. SHG uses ultrasound to watch the movement of a salt solution (saline) that is injected into the uterus. SHG does not use X-rays or an iodine dye.
  • If a blocked fallopian tube is the cause of infertility, an oil-based dye may be used during a hysterosalpingogram to remove the blockage. Some studies show that an oil-based dye may open up a blockage better than a water-based dye, but other studies have shown no difference between the two dyes.
  • Be sure your doctor knows if you take metformin (such as Glucophage) for diabetes or for any other reason, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), because of the possible interaction with the dye used in this test.
